All of our bears are handcrafted in Cost Blanca Spain by Artist Tania Fish. The bears are all made from 100% Mohair to traditional methods and craft. Tania made her first bear in 2002 and has been hooked ever since. All bears are in small limited editions and one-off creations.

Burlington Bears is a hobby based business run by Tania Fish supported by her husband Beckett Fish. The aim of the company is to make  collectable bears for adults using the finest quality materials and workmanship in limited editions.

The bears are created in a number of styles -Hellraisers are based on motor biking bears, Burlington Bumbles are wacky creations with wings ,Burlington Mutts are dogs, Bunnies are of course rabbits with long floppy ears. Woodland Wonders and Burlington Treasures are miniature bears and are based on fairies and pirates. Burlington Moggies are cats  with long tails.

Tania Fish is happily married with two children. She started designing ceramic pottery whilst traveling in her early twenties very much under the influence of Greek traditional culture. Since settling back in the UK she married  Internet businessman Beckett Fish and has been lovingly designing bears  whilst bringing up two young children. Tania and Beckett are the proud owners of 2 Siberian Husky and 2 Japanese Shiba-inus. The dogs are kept in check by 6 cats.

The bears were initially created in a purpose built workshop in their garden in Burlington Gardens Selsey which is how the name Burlington Bears came to be. Now Tania lives in the Mountains in the Costa Blanca region in Spain where she continues the workshop.
